We are gearing up for the first ever student created Post Secret event at the University of Oklahoma this February!
This year the University of Oklahoma will be hosting a new event on campus based off of the popular website postsecret.com. During this event students will be encouraged to decorate note cards with drawings or cutouts and write their personal secrets on them. Cards will then be collected and posted anonymously in the student union and online for other students to view. Secrets will be collected from February 2 through February 18 with two major postings on February 11 and February 18 and a final take-down on February 25.
This event allows students the opportunity to express themselves, their feelings, insecurities, and secrets, in an anonymous manner. The goal of Post Secret is to give students an idea of what their peers have to deal with on a daily basis and to show them that they are not alone in a lot of the things they are facing. For this reason, our theme for the year is “PS: You’re not alone.”
